I have been a teacher for 22 years.  I have been teaching at Callahan School for the Deaf and Blind for the last 8 years.  I love my students and their families!  I have also been teaching Sign Language classes for the parents of our Callahan family and others associated with our children over the last 3 years.  

Our learning environment in my classroom is a fun, hands-on, interactive, technology filled, experience.  Learning can be fun and challenging.  Its a place where we can grow, make mistakes, and try again until we have given our very best effort.  

I encourage open communication with my students and their families.  I will always do whatever I can, to provide the best education for all of the students who have been placed in my classroom.    Teaching is an opportunity to make a difference in the lives of our children and their families and I am honored to have it, here at Callahans.
